The LeBron Bot is an IM chat bot for the app GroupMe. The LeBron Bot interacts with users by sending messages, gifs, and photos about LeBron James! The bot responds to messages within the group, as well as when invoked by users.
Inspired by LeBron James, the bot is designed to bring together the sports-lover in any group message!
The LeBron bot sends a random message when invoked with the “/LeBron” command.
Powered by Giphy’s API, the LeBron bot sends a random gif when invoked by the “/gif” command.
The LeBron Bot is built in Node.js, and hosted on Heroku Web Dynos.
